Tips for success

Tip #1 Breastfeeding can help with weight loss

Yes, breastfeeding can help you lose the baby weight. The first 6 month's it's important not to limit your calories since it is your baby's only source of nutrients.  Also don't forget to take your prenatal vitamins!

Tip #2 Physical Activity is important

Being physically active is essential for losing weight.  Brenda recommends finding a workout buddy aand helping each other be accountable.  "Go to the same gym and workout together."

Tip #3 Nuttition is the key

Remember at the end of the day what you put in will ultimately be what shows.  If you eat lots of "junk foods" then you are eating unhealthy processed filler foods. Filler foods are meant to taste good but lack nutritional value. Eat clean simple foods, stay on the perimeter in the grocery store will help you to remember to eat healthy.  Don't be afraid to make foods from scratch.  Find a recipe online and try it out.  Brenda says " When I want something simple and fast,  I make homemade no-yeast pizza dough and put on my favorite toppings (onion and black olives)." Making food from scratch is not only great on the budget, but you can get your family involved and bond.
